One of the aspects of therapy that resonates most deeply with me is working alongside neurodivergent individuals and families. I have extensive experience supporting people

with Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, and related sensory or cognitive differences.

I understand that neurodiversity is not a deficit but a vital part of human variation. My

aim is to offer therapy that is adaptable, accessible, and affirming — recognising the

rich diversity of thinking, feeling, and processing that neurodivergent clients bring.

This passion is not only professional but deeply personal. It drives me to keep learning

and evolving my practice to be as inclusive and effective as possible, ensuring that all

clients feel seen, heard, and valued for exactly who they are.

My journey into psychotherapy began later in life, following a career dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals through some of their most challenging moments.

A significant part of this experience comes from my work at The Priory Group, where I supported people in inpatient settings dealing with severe and complex mental health

issues, including addictions. This clinical background has profoundly shaped my ability to hold and work with intense emotional material with sensitivity and care.

With nearly two decades of experience in mental health and therapeutic settings, I bring

both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to my work. I have always been fascinated by the complexity of human experience — how our histories, relationships, and

neurological differences intertwine to shape the way we see ourselves and the world.

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey. I’m a warm, conscientious, and reflective practitioner who values openness, curiosity, and authenticity. I strive to hold a non-judgemental space where difficult feelings can be explored with care and where meaningful change can emerge naturally.

My approach is integrative — drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive-

behavioural, and trauma-informed perspectives. Additionally, my ongoing training as a Group Analyst with the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA) enriches my understanding of unconscious dynamics, relational patterns, and systemic influences that shape our inner

and outer worlds.

My clinical experience working with complex and high-risk cases in inpatient care has given me a grounded understanding of the challenges clients face, enabling me to support both the depth and breadth of emotional experience with compassion and

professional rigour.

But more than any technique, it’s my commitment to truly understanding each person’s lived experience that guides  my work. I am continually inspired by the resilience and courage people bring to therapy. It is a privilege to accompany clients as they navigate their challenges, discover new insights,

and build stronger connections with themselves and others.
